Our Team

Kevin Morey is the owner and part of the sales team. Having worked in the business since it started in 1980. Kevin has invaluable knowledge to ensure your needs are matched with the best solution – for both tractors and farm machinery.
Bruce Lynn and Paul Tuffey, along with Kevin, complete the sales team.  Ex-farmers, Bruce and Paul have practical experience and knowledge of farming and clients’ needs.  This enables Bruce and Paul to ensure you leave having purchased the tractor or farm machinery that will deliver exactly what you were after.
As parts manager, Roger Mckeown is responsible for the ordering, managing and distribution of parts to walk-in customers and our workshop.  Roger has significant experience in managing a parts department, allowing Matamata Tractors & Machinery to carry an extensive range of genuine Massey Ferguson parts, as well as accessories and children’s toys.
Our workshop team comprises of Massey Ferguson School trained mechanics led by Steve Oates, Don Kay and apprentice Quinn Berry, and Phill Currill, which ensures the best possible turnaround time is achieved for servicing and also allows us to provide full servicing of all tractor and farm machinery and equipment. Our workshop is a modern seven bay facility complete with all the tools and diagnostic equipment needed to offer the fastest possible turnaround and best result for our clients.  Company founder Peter Morey is still around, assisting the team with small yard jobs or the delivery of your new purchase.
